Adieu to the beautiful filao at Tintamare…

Three coconut palms on Pinel and sadly the magnificent
filao that shaded the picnic tables on the
beach at Tintamare did not resist the high winds
that assaulted the islands during hurricane Gonzalo.
The trees were cut up and any branches that
posed a danger to the public on the beaches within
the Réserve were removed.
